Our thoughts on the antenna (non) issue

You maybe aware of the frenzy that is stirring around the fact that holding the iPhone in your left hand & placing your fingers across the antenna seam, results in reception bars disappearing.

Many people are sounding disgruntled like it’s an Apple design fault & many criticized Steve Jobs supposed response that you just shouldn’t hold it that way

Well we 150% back Steve up on this one. Sometimes a tool needs to be held in a certain way in order to function properly.

Would you complain if your pot didn’t boil because you put your hand between the hotplate & the pot?

Would you complain that thumbtacks hurt if you push on the pointy end?

Would you complain because your hammer can’t put nails in walls when you put your left hand over the top?

Would you complain that the toilet doesn’t flush when you tap on the bowl?

The reality is almost everything in life needs to be handled correctly in order to function & as the FCC mandates. Unless you wish for the radiation from your phone to be directed through your head (obviously not good for reception or head) then putting it outside facing down & away from you is a good idea.

We really feel it’s the same people who never want to take self responsibility for anything that are complaining about it.

“Hey Steve my camera didn’t take photos when I held my finger infront of the lens. There’s nothing about this in the manual, I think your iPhones faulty. Can I have a refund or free accessory that keeps my fingers away from the lens?
