We are in the process of moving the 1 is enough exhibition from 1kx1k.com servers to iPhography.com’s servers.
We apologise but you may find a few broken links over the next week as we get it sorted
If you were using http://1isenough/artistname format you wont need to update any of your links but if you were using http://1isenough.1kx1k.com/artistsname then you may need to adjust your links
Also we may not receive new submissions over the next week as we will but updating the email adresses
You maybe aware of the frenzy that is stirring around the fact that holding the iPhone in your left hand & placing your fingers across the antenna seam, results in reception bars disappearing.
Many people are sounding disgruntled like it’s an Apple design fault & many criticized Steve Jobs supposed response that you just shouldn’t hold it that way
Well we 150% back Steve up on this one. Sometimes a tool needs to be held in a certain way in order to function properly.
Would you complain if your pot didn’t boil because you put your hand between the hotplate & the pot?
Would you complain that thumbtacks hurt if you push on the pointy end?
Would you complain because your hammer can’t put nails in walls when you put your left hand over the top?
Would you complain that the toilet doesn’t flush when you tap on the bowl?
The reality is almost everything in life needs to be handled correctly in order to function & as the FCC mandates. Unless you wish for the radiation from your phone to be directed through your head (obviously not good for reception or head) then putting it outside facing down & away from you is a good idea.
We really feel it’s the same people who never want to take self responsibility for anything that are complaining about it.
“Hey Steve my camera didn’t take photos when I held my finger infront of the lens. There’s nothing about this in the manual, I think your iPhones faulty. Can I have a refund or free accessory that keeps my fingers away from the lens?
Congratulations to the new exhibitor Marco La Civita for the 1 is enough exhibtion. You can find direct links to his exhibition space below or go to http://1isenough.com to see all exhibitors or to get more info on how you can apply to join the exhibition

Remember we are looking for 100 of the worlds best iPhographers & there is now only 76 places left
Just another update in our process of testing the new iOS 4
On our 3GS iPhones the camera is smoking fast! It can almost take & save iPhographs as fast as you can tap
Test it for yourselves. We used to have a separate app to help us rapid fire when we needed but although they are fast to shoot, they were slow to save. The inbuilt camera app is now saving plenty fast. Seems like this new OS update combined with the coming iPhone 4 will make some of those apps redundant
If you haven’t yet downloaded iOS 4 yet, then all you need to do is plug your iPhone into your computer. See here for more info

Before we get into the features there are 2 things we already don’t like about it. And we assume that being iPhographers asthetics is also important to you.
The thing we most like about Apple is it’s clean simplicty of use & design, a wonderful marriage of both form & function. But this latest update seems to be appealing to the masses that like to create hideous MySpace pages that are completely unreadable. But don’t worry iPhography has 1 solution for you (more bellow)
The first thing we don’t like is, after you have created a folder and open it the other icons fade but stay transparent. Its a minor annoyance sure, but its visual clutter that is unnecessary. I would much prefer that when I open the folder everything else disappears, that way I can concentrate on finding quickly what’s in the folder.
The second thing is With the addition of a wallpaper for your homepage it is now extremely cluttered & distracting. Worse still is Apple hasn’t given you the option of a plain black wallpaper for those of us that think our iPhone is a tool not a toy. even the plainest & darkest that they have offered (a pinstripe suit) is still too distracting
Here is our solution
Tell all your friends to drop by this page
& feel free to link to it ->
http://iphography.com/colorwallpapersforiphone
You will find a black image as well as some grey & colour images that are 960 x 640. The aspect ratio will suit all iPhones
Simply hold your finger on the image & save to your camera roll
Then select Settings > Wallpaper > Camera Roll > then the black image
Presto you now have your iPhone back & not looking like a teenage girls SNS page
If you do need a bit more colour?? Funky Love Bunny has created a few nice wallpapers at the bottom of that page for you
[EDIT] I’ve just tested them & they look great.
PS tell everyone. If lots of people like it, share this post or visit the site. I will add more freebies!
