App Review - ShakeItPhoto 1.1
Many iPhographers have been having fun with the numerous apps out there that replicate the Polaroid look (Fauxlaroids). But we are happy to say that not only have we found an app that replicates the look of polaroids but also the feel. As the ShakeItPhoto name would suggest, after you capture your iPhograph or you select one from your camera roll (we suggest camera roll not library as you will get...

600 & counting!
Welcome to our 600th Tumblr follower as well as the thousands of people that visit iPhography.com. It’s fantastic to see the iPhography movement growing so fast.
A bit about our history…
When we first started to dream up the idea of an iPhone Photography Movement in July of last year, we went looking for a suitable name. When discussing ideas we wanted something that not only...

It's our bat & ball & if you don't like it.......
To the FCC or any other organisation that wants to butt in & tell Apple what to to with their App store, we say shut your big fat pie holes! Yes we know that you want to assert your authority from time to time to justify your relevance but in this case it’s completely unnecessary.
For those of you who don’t know, the FCC has recently asked Apple to explain it’s actions in...

A new member for the iPhography family?
Ok, straight up, this is going to be a pure speculation on behalf of an Apple fanboy. BUT I wouldn’t be to surprised if this wasn’t far off the mark. Maybe I should have edited it better, but I’m typing it as I would speak it. Minus my Tourettes ticks & swearing of course
Now some things that have come to our attention that are starting to fit together is
Snow Leopard...
iPhography.com Update - Thanks for the feedback!
It was brought to our attention by Tony Q that although we wouldn’t touch a PC with a barge pole, the Type kerning or line spacing on iPhography.com was making it hard for some non-mac iPhograhers to read. We have returned the text to normal so that everyone can enjoy iPhography.com
Comments - There was a bug when you clicked on the bottom right comments link it wouldn’t take you to...
Invisible iPhographs Update
Ok we saw many suggestions on how to fix the problem (see previous post) but was unwilling to share until we had tried it here at iPhography HQ
So far the best that we have tried can be found at AppleiPhoneSchool
The PhoneView software they recommend works well (it comes with a 7 day demo period) Just remember to BACKUP EVERYTHING FIRST TO YOUR IPHOTO. Even though you may not be able to see the...
Invisible iPhographs
We just encountered a problem with the iPhones camera roll & after a bit of investigation have found out that a bug in iPhone OS 3.0 makes any images named IMG_10000 or higher to disappear from your camera roll. When you sync with your computer your videos & iPhographs download as normal.
But it’s an extremely frustrating bug as I often like to edit iPhographs from the camera roll...
