Luminance - micro review
As the editor of iPhography.com I have seen & tested hundreds of apps. So after testing this, I fail to see why it has rated so high by everyone including Apple (runner up for app of the year 2011). It’s not my intention to bag this app but merely provide some balance to the rediculous amount of 5star reviews for what I would give a 2 to 3 star rating for.
My guess is the app maker...

When I tap a photo to see it bigger. Please please don’t auto rotate it, let me decide if it’s necessary. Also can we pinch to zoom on the image please

FX Photo Studio by MacPhun LLC, Version 4.2 -...
The first thing you’ll notice about FX Photo Studio is the user interface is wonderfully clear & optimised for the retina display, plenty of clean space around buttons that are logically laid out & with appropriate icons. I’ll emphasis that it really is clear & simple to use.
The cute little flower on the splash screen actually has a live view of you through your front or rear...

Readers Question - Getting a grip
Q:Thanks for the info. I am snapping away - My eyes suffer from the harsh sunlight here and I often don’t notice my fingers in the way. What is the ideal way to hold an iPhone whilst taking pics stop those finger shadows?
And I really hope the lanyard will be implemented.
Thanks Sunny Greece

I'm a Mac, I'm a PC....
Not anymore. Everyone is now going to be divided between… ”I’m a New G” & “I’m an S”
It’s seems if Apple keeps following the same upgrade path, then with the standard worldwide 2 year contract pattern each of us not rich enough to break our contract or opt for 1 year plans, will either be stuck in a same form factor/slight upgrade (S) or a...
Check out the New iPhone 4s Camera →
Some may have wanted a completely different iPhone 5 but I am sure that most iPhographers are going to agree that the new camera & camera app upgrades are worth it.

Design Fail: Telstra trying to be Apple
Ok this is only related to iPhography in the fact that it concerns 1 of Australia’s major telco’s copying Apple in the most rediculous way
1) When you see an Apple logo on a building it looks like an Apple but Telstra using their blue t thingy stabbed in an orange sideways oval logo thingy with no text is a bit of a mouthful when trying to describe to my friend thats just arrived in...

Dear Apple
With all of your genius, with all of your resources, with all of your design tallent, why can’t you make a fricken dock cord that doesnt brake after 3 weeks??
Im sure you are aware that anyone who cradles an iPhone in their hand whilst it is charging will brake the cord just below the dock connector
Seriously I have bought 3rd party cords for a third of the price that last 10 times as long...
